BIOGRAPHY
Angie Payne is originally from Wilmington, NC. She is a member of
Wrightsboro United Methodist Church, where she is involved in
numerous ministries including Praise Team, Voices of Wrightsboro
and the Wrightsboro UMC Adult Choir. She also has the privilege of
directing the church's youth choir, 'Da Blaze, in addition to being a
Youth Leader at Wrightsboro UMC.
Angie is a recording artist with Pillar Music Group based in
Wilmington, NC. She has been ministering with the company since
1998 as a member of the Wilmington Celebration Choir and began
performing as a solo artist in 2007. She has the opportunity to travel to
numerous churches, conferences and other venues to minister through
song. In 2008, Angie became the newest member of Voice of Ruth, a
female group of artists with Pillar Music Group.
Angie has just completed her first recording project, SOUL & SPIRIT,
which debuted on November 11, 2007. This project includes hymns,
praise and worship, and black/contemporary gospel. Angie hopes to
record a second project in the future with her mother, fellow Pillar
Music artist, Paula Greene.
Angie currently resides in Wilmington, NC with her daughter, Alex.
